On my way through my Thesaurus studying the difference between a hope and a wish, I came across the following - vapid = dull, lifeless, insipid, uninteresting, tiresome, spiritless, vacuous, prosaic, mundane. virile = vibrant, strong, forceful, vigorous, robust.
I'm thinking that Christ in us, the Hope of Glory, would want the 2nd one for our lives.
Anything less? Is it just laziness on our part? Christ in us, the Hope of Glory. Do we understand the implications of that? Aren't we settleing for MUCH less than He shed His blood for?
Just thinking.
