Journal Prayer - 6-28-2010.
Lord, I pray my own way, with presumption. I presume I know how you want me to pray. I press and press my own will until You relent, and give me what I ask. For this, I pay a heavy earthly toll. What is the toll in the spirit? Forgive me Lord. Help me to find what You want me to pray. Help me to find what Jesus is praying, help me to echo only that. Forgive me, and please bring to mind by Your Spirit, Your wishes alone.
Amen.
